Two other daily calendars (Christmas presents) weren't worth turning the page, so more than two months into the new year, I found a copy of the Book Lovers Page-A-Day calendar and finally am back to checking it every day. Now again, I'm generating lists of books I want to read, of books to give as gifts, and of books to suggest to friends.
I keep up with the latest books and read book reviews. This is my favorite calendar. Each day has an interesting book suggestion. However, many of the books described in this calendar are new to me. I have found some real gems amoung the suggestions in this calendar over the years.
I love this calendar and get it every year for my desk.I have found some interesting books from this calendar that have been very good reads. I've read books that I would have never found without this calendar.I am always anxious to see the next days, but I don't peak.Take care, TJ
This is the third year I've bought the Book Lover's Calendar, and I now buy it as a gift for every book lover I know. I think the calendar does a good job of recommending a variety of different reads--historical non-fiction, literary fiction, mysteries, romance novels, and coffee table books. The reviews are succinct and informative. And for the green book lover, each calendar page is blank on the back--perfect for phone messages, grocery lists or notes about other great books.
This item was purchased for an author of two books. He enjoys reading andinformation on books helps him to decide whether or not to read a certain book. This is the 3rd year that we have given him this gift.
